**Requirements**:
- **Education**:High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional technical education or certification in marine mechanics, diesel engines, or related fields preferred.
- **Experience**:Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a marine mechanic or in a similar mechanical maintenance role, preferably in a marine environment.
- **Technical Skills**:Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining marine engines, propulsion systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems. Familiarity with marine diesel engines, outboard motors, and marine electronics is desirable.
- **Adaptability**:Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, schedules, and work environments, with a willingness to learn new technologies and techniques in marine maintenance and repair.
