This position resides within Global Marine Lubricants and reports to the Regional Manager - Asia Pacific. This position supports the AP Sales Team in their business management, contract tenders and compliance requirements. It also requires managing coordination between different functions like supply chain, customer service, marketing, and business support.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Support Regional Manager (RM) and Account Managers (AM) in pre
- and post-sales activities, including:
- Bid proposal preparation, contract management, and addressing customer requirements.- Handle customer requests such as invoice processing and customized sales report.- Track and report on new opportunities, signing bonus payment schedules, and lead management.- Support RM in annual business planning to support strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Business Support, Supply Chain, etc) to resolve operational requests related to ESG surveys, FAST billing reports, tax issues, local regulatory tasks.
Provide reporting and analytical support for the Monthly Business Review (MBR) leveraging tools like SFDC, Analytics, Power BI. Offer insights and analysis to AM on sales matrices for margin management, sales volume, gross margin, product price, and trend analysis.
Practice as the Asia Pacific (AP) sales team representative to:
- Ensure aligning with compliance requirement for new business opportunities and staying updated on guidelines for managing business risk with the compliance team.- Coordinate with the marketing team regarding regional marketing activities, events, regional content through monthly meetings.- Engage in monthly community sharing sessions with other regional sales support specialists, updating on AP business initiatives, sales process, and sharing case studies.- Support project initiatives by compiling business information from stakeholders and engaging with the project team.
Provide administrative support to the AP marine team when required.
Job Requirements
Job covers various countries in Asia Pacific, co-ordination between different functions, such as Supply Chain, Marketing, Business Support, Customer Service, and other regions which requires excellent communication skills and a good understanding of the Marine Lubricants business.- At least 1 year of related work experience;- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field;- Critical thinker with the ability to push the boundaries and challenge the status quo.- Outstanding communication skills and ability to influence and persuade others internally and externally;-
- Previous sales experience preferred;- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment;- Self-starter; ability to achieve goals without daily supervision;- Eager to learn and inspire others;- Strong attention to detail, time management, and decision-making skills

Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
