Singapore MITSUBISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. Full time

This role will be responsible for part of Mechanical works during operation/warranty period of TuasOne Waste to Energy Project in Singapore.
- Provide experience-based supervision as EPC contractor in the role of Senior Mechanical Engineer for the period
- Coordinate with Sub-Contractor's supervisor and Client concerning all matters for the mechanical works including supervision, direction, training, meeting, correspondence and etc
- Ensure that the Waste to Energy Plant can be operated and maintained normally without its operation suspended.
- Investigation and identification of the cause of the errors/defects/problems which arose or will arise in the equipment of the Waste to Energy plant.
- Supervising rectification works of the above errors
- Improvement of the equipment in order to achieve safer, stabler and more environmentally friendly operation of the Waste to Energy plant.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree of Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 25 years of relevant experience in engineering/designing work of mechanical field of Waste to Energy Plant and/or Processing Plant
- Extensive knowledge and rich experiences in mechanical field
- Competent in investigating and analysing the errors/defects/problems of mechanical equipment and supervising the rectification works
- Ability to investigate and identifythe cause of the errors which could arise in the mechanical equipment of Waste to Energy Plant and/or Processing Plant
- Ability to supervise subcontractors and advise them from the viewpoint of specialist
- Japanese Language proficiency of JLPT N1 or equivalent is mandatory as this role requires the incumbent to communicate with Japanese internal counterparts and external suppliers on a daily basis
- Ability to communicate with MHI-AP, MHIEC and MHIECS couterparts in both English and Japanese with good Mechanical Engineering knowledge of WTE and/or similar plants and the equipment such as especially Air Cooled Condensers
- Ability to communicate with Client and Vendors / Sub-Contractors in English with good Mechanical Engineering knowledge of WtE and/or similar plants and the equipment such as especially Air Cooled Condensers
