Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience working as a program manager, technical program manager, product manager, or project manager.
- 2 years of experience in people management.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to align and deliver technical projects.

Preferred qualifications:

- Ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally.
- Ability to influence others without direct authority.
- Ability to execute technical projects at global scale, across multiple teams and time zones.
- Ability to learn payments industry or finance specific terminology and processes.
- Excellent communication and project/stakeholder management skills.

**About the job**: Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges we face daily. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage a team of Program Managers helping build payment products for the end users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather estimates, proposals, and generate project plans.
- Own software implementation projects, including providing full project management, creation, maintenance of implementation documentation, and track timelines/deliverables.
- Work with external and internal partners on integration and product expansion opportunities.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues that arise during design, implementation, and post-production.
