**Summary of the position/scope of work**:
We are seeking a talented Software and Applications Manager to join our dynamic Capital Market Department.
Beyond day-to-day operations, you will drive strategic initiatives focused on automations, operational resilience, and process optimization across the department. You will own the development and adaption of bespoke automation systems, leveraging your expertise in Python,.Net, SQL, PowerShell, Unix, ControlM, ELK etc.
As a manager, you will ensure the proper functioning of the team, promote continuous improvement, cooperation, and autonomy. You oversee removing obstacles from team roadmap. You will be the main point of contact for the Product Owners and Business users. You will oversee and support the team on achieving its objectives on both automation delivery of software libraries and its production stability within the organization.

**Scope of duties**:
As the team head of RAOP/AOP sub-division, you will lead two dynamic operations teams and automation projects across different critical functional areas.
- Application Operation production [Counterparty and Market Risk]: playing a pivotal role in production stability and evolution of production support into a robust operational architecture for risk division.
- Application support strategic initiatives and solution development.

**Support Lead Role**

**Manage Daily IT Production**
Steer daily production status by ensuring Incident/ Request/ Problem management processes are well applied as per ITIL standards of the Bank.

**Ensures Production Resiliency**

Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and work on long-term solutions to prevent recurrence as part of Problem Management Process.
Manage shifts, on-call coverage and support during weekends and special business activities.
Responsible for DRP / BCP exercise execution and success

**Primary IT Production Contact**

Serve as the point of contact for escalated or Major Incidents by coordinating with internal teams or vendors as necessary to resolve issues along with accountable for communication and resolution efficiency.

Bac + 3 / L3Formation / Spécialisation
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in financial domain, preferable investment banking / capital markets.
- Master or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Information Tech/ Programming & Systems analysis
- Minimum 5 years of experience in people management with direct reporting of more than 10-member team.
- Mandatory ITIL certification and experience of setting up ITIL based operations
- Knowledge and/or hands on working experience

Oversee the acquisition and development of software systems in organizational units.
Experience in software systems and tools (Bespoke transversal automation framework, ELK observability solutions, DevOps integration etc) for the department.
Monitor the results and quality of the different software solutions and projects implemented in the organization.
Oversee the development of Proof-of-Concept/ solutions and provide technical expertise on the development of software and platform features, ensuring that appropriate security and risk factors are considered.
Oversee study and support decision process for acquisition of external software or component whenever relevant and needed.

Good knowledge in database management systems like SQL, Oracle, Sybase, BigData. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell script, PowerShell, SQL )
- Experience with monitoring, logging & telemetry tools like Elastic Search, Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana
- Knowledge of Cloud platforms and services
- Experience in DevOps tooling (GIT, Maven, Ansible), Docker & Kubernetes. Experience with Large scale distributed grid computing.
