We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an** Assistant Manager, Health Claims.**
**Principal Responsibilities**
- Manage a team of health claims handers, and take responsibility for management of all KPIs, including turnaround time and accuracy of assessment
- Manage relationships with internal/external stakeholders on claims related matters
- Monitor and Manage development and productivity of your team
- Assist to provide necessary information and ad-hoc assignment to Senior Manager / Manager to allow for accurate and timely submission of reports to management
- Investigate and escalate technical claim issue as and when experienced
- To initiate improvement of process, workflows or system on a continuous basis
- To meet different TPA to discuss business guidelines
- Auditing of TPA claims and preparing reports
- Prepare claims reports and TAT reports as and when requested by brokers/intermediaries
- Continuous engagement in cost containment exercises and FWA activities
- Participate in scheduled internal and external audits
- Collaborate with inter-departments on process improvements for enhanced customer satisfactory
- Be vocal and engaged for all related projects, and a change champion for developments
Requirements
**Requirements**:
- A recognised Diploma or Degree in any discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in the health insurance industry, preferably experience with handling Group Hospital & Surgical and Outpatient Claims
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and a fast learner, able to grasp processes and system quickly
- Able to multi-task and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a face-paced environment
- Strong customer orientation, team player
