The School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS) at the Singapore Management University (SMU) has one tenure track faculty position, Assistant Professor, in the discipline of Computer Science & Engineering.
We strategically hire to build critical mass and innovative capability in our core research areas and integrative research domains. In particular, we are keen to expand our faculty expertise in AI Governance (Privacy, Security, Safety), Embodied AI, Human and Social Aspects of Software Engineering, Post-Quantum Cryptographic Techniques and Applications.

We currently have around 55 tenure-track faculty members working across research areas in computer science & engineering, and information systems management. They are complemented by over 35 practice/education faculty members and lecturers who focus on teaching, translation and pedagogical research.
