The Process Engineering department is looking for a Sr. Process Engineer Final Assembly & Test to support the team drive process development projects at the EMS and hereby using the full accountability of the EMS partner.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage complex engineering projects in the consumer industry, as a part of a cross-functional team (in-house and external EMS staff) including engineering, testing, NPI, manufacturing.
- Mitigate and resolve potential escalations due to topics such as timelines, deadlines, budgets, change requests or similar in the process engineering domain.
- Act as a central point of contact and advisor in regard to process development for both internal stakeholders such as Program or Project Managers and for our EMS partners
- Own process engineering functional expertise in terms of DFx, Testing Platforms (AOI), act as the IPC expert on behalf of LEGO.
- Possess good knowledge in common test tools such as Labview, NI controllers, Vision Inspection Systems and Data Management for analysis.
- Drive Process Engineering function of development projects in accordance with Lego Development Launch processes (LDP).
- Help resolve complex engineering, manufacturing and delivery challenges through your experience and by utilizing your experience.
- Analyses and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by the various departments of Lego.
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) for production prototypes and equipment.
- Supports on-site installation of prototype, pilot and production equipment.

Do you have what it takes?
- Diploma’s degree or above in a Engineering-related field or

equivalent working experience.
- 5 years or more in defining testing equipment and test solution in the electronics industry.
- Solid knowledge of test data management
- In depth working experience with EMS partners, in particular in joint development of process technologies (DFM), launch of projects and yield optimizations.
- Proficiency in English is a requirement in this role.
- Clear logical international thinking with good communication skill
- Multicultural interaction is an everyday affair and one has to adapt and learn the different cultural environment.
- Flexible ; you must be able to travel regularly within Asia
- Experience in handphone test process.
- Knowledge of Time Studies, Line Balancing, Lean Manufacturing, Bottleneck Analysis.
- Knowledge in traceability and production lot control
- Experience in using Business Intelligence tools (BI )
- Multi-national company working experience
- Excellent English communication skills: verbal, written, presentation.
