Customer Delivery Architect

Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
- Experience building enterprise security strategy and solutions for Public Cloud adoption
- Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to lead effectively across virtual or distributed organisations
- 10+ years’ experience in IT security, compliance and risk management, including privacy and controls
- 5+ years’ consulting and in-house security leadership experience with a track record of success in helping enterprise customers build and implement: security reference architecture for all-in cloud deployments and hybrid scenarios; security controls, audit and logging requirements; archive, backup/recovery and business continuity processes in distributed operations; security controls around ERP packages (SAP, Oracle, etc); enterprise security packages, including identity management and federation systems; security solutions such as WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, and SIEM
- Experience advising customers on architectures, design and implement security program to meet industry standards such as SAS70, SOC1, FISMA, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST/DoD frameworks
- Understanding of enterprise risk management methods and techniques to drive successful outcomes in a multi-national environment.
- Familiarity with industry compliance and security standards including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST
- BS level degree required, computer science, business or math background preferred
- Project management skills and experience

Job summary

This role is a blend of security advisory skills as well as technical skills, across all aspects of information security management as well as business and regulatory compliance using Cloud services in large scale and complex environments.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Expertise - Collaborate with AWS field sales, pre-sales, training and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services in key market verticals & regulated industries such as financial services, digital native businesses, media, manufacturing, healthcare, life sciences, and energy
- Solutions - Scope and lead strategic security engagements with partners and customers. This includes: participating in pre-sales meetings to understand customer security and compliance requirements; proposing and delivering packaged professional services offerings; and the design of customer Cloud security solutions.
- Delivery - Lead or contribute to the hands-on delivery of AWS Cloud security solutions as part of AWS Professional Services engagements.
- Insights - Work with AWS engineering, support and business teams to convey partner and customer feedback as input to AWS technology roadmaps.
