**Job Overview**

As the Finance Manager, you will responsible for managing the financial health of an organization in order to promote success and growth while maintaining legal financial practices. The duties typically include financial planning to determine how to pay off liabilities and grow the business, reviewing financial documents to ensure tax-compliance and collaboration with other departments to achieve monetary goals.

As the Finance Manager, you are also responsible for advising an organization on how to increase profit through prudent financial practices and monitoring and enforcing compliance with finance-related laws, procedures and regulations such as tax filing and financial reporting.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform timely and accurate general ledger data entry in accounting system
- Perform bank reconciliation of accounts on a weekly basis.
- Prepare budgets with full participation of all departments.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly comprehensive management reporting.
- Prepare quarterly GST reports.
- Perform Month-end and Financial year-end closing activities (Balance Sheet Schedules)
- Liaise with vendors and/or customers to address financial requests and queries and handle vendor payment and payment issues
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary, bankers and Statutory Boards to ensure compliance with regulatory authority.
- Review protection of business assets and administer appropriate insurance coverage.
- Looking into strengthening current internal control and process improvement
- Implement best practices in order to identify and manage all financial and business risks.
- Implement and enforce finance policies and practices. Strong accounting skills and in-depth understanding of accounting principles, familiar with Singapore GST and corporate tax matters
- Supervise the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecasts.
- Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial budgeting and forecasting for the business. (Costing & margin analysis)
- Advise executive management on decisions related to the company’s finances

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Accountancy/ Finance or equivalent or Minimum Diploma with strong relevant experience
- Proficient in Intuit QuickBooks (expert level)
- Meticulous, highly analytical and strong in Excel/Microsoft Word
- Min. 6 years of accounting and relevant working experience finance experience in accounting and financial analysis
- Strong knowledge of finance, accounting principles and practices
- A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
- Good communication skills and a team player
- Proficiency in efficient delivery under pressure of tight deadlines.
- Independent, meticulous, responsible, motivated, analytical thinker & pro-active
- Excellent organisation skills and be able to effectively prioritise and multitask
- Ability to exercise judgment in managing confidential or sensitive information
