Reporting to the Director of Regional Distributor Management, Greater Asia, to be based in Singapore, is accountable for the end-to-end supply chain excellence for BD in Greater Asia. The incumbent is responsible to implement regional Supply Chain Strategy, which includes E2E Network Optimization, Operating Model and High Performing Organization. Specific emphasis and responsibility reside with Global Supply Chain Capabilities (people, processes & systems), E2E Supply Chain process optimization, PMO, Knowledge management, Communication.

Provides strategic planning leadership and direction for all BD Supply Chain Associates. Ensure BD GA SC is external and customer focus. This role will require the associate to work independently and well in teams. Key partners include planning, Logistics, customer service, RA, QA, distributors, Biz and other cross functional teams.

**Job Summary**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Devise and coordinate strategies on supply chain architecture, planning, logistics, customer services, and systems.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and support GA SC organization with prioritization and reporting of initiatives; design programs to improve performance areas.
- Lead and program manage supply chain projects & initiatives to support system and process enhancement, acquire new supply chain capability, drive customer centric initiatives and implement global supply chain improvement projects.
- Ensure GA SC is technology savvy; understand latest technology developments impacting company supply chains, develop business cases for implementation.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance E2E Global SC key processes.
- Benchmark and evaluate future supply chain trends and best practices and prioritize areas of improvement.
- Ensure best supply chain practice sharing mechanism are in place across GA SC.
- Ensure connection with SC optimization resources in the other regions and countries to drive standardization and consist.
- Define risk management and business continuity & supply chain communication strategies and its implementation in partnership with GA SC risk & compliance team.
- Support Talent development, people engagement, training plan, and upscale of GA SC associate skill set.
- Support all other GA SC LT leaders with assessment and strategic initiatives.

**Position Requirements**:
Education/Qualification:

- At least 10 years progressive management experience in Supply Chain/Operations
- Demonstrated ability to develop and successfully execute strategy.
- Breadth of background across numerous roles / functions within an Integrated Global E2E Supply Chain organization would be preferred.
- BS in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or Science. MBA and/or advanced degree preferred.
- **PMP, Six Sigma/Blackbelt or any project management certifications**:

- International experience leading cross functional teams and driving consensus in decision making
- Demonstrated financial management, organizational, planning, and implementation skills.

Experiences/Capabilities:

- Individual must demonstrate very strong initiative and effectiveness with mínimal supervision. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are keys to success in this role. Demonstrated ability to progress efforts through strong Leadership and Influencing skills is also important. Ability to lead/manage multiple initiatives simultaneously is vital.
- In-depth knowledge of business process, with a focus on Customer Facing, Product Innovation, and Integrated Supply Chain process knowledge
- Ability to influence without authority
- Ability to prepare and deliver impactful and business focused presentations to senior management
- Ability to build relationships with senior leaders across all business functions including corporate functions and cross business
- Strong knowledge of SAP, PC Applications, and SharePoint Design
- **Strong Project Management/Project Leadership Capabilities**:

- Strong Change Management skills
- Possess analytical skill and ability to enjoy data mining/ report analysis
