**Title**:Engineering Intern

- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Become familiar with Subsea7 Business Management System documents
- Become familiar with applicable industry codes and standards
- Become proficient with schedule management
- Become familiar with subsea architecture and the uses of the various installations that can occur.
- Gain an understanding of rigging design and implement for lifting operations within projects
- Perform engineered lift rigging design
- Perform engineered seafastening design
- Generate task plan for mobilization/installation/demobilization activities
- Equipment and materials procurement
- Exact tasks will be determined closer to the time based on Project requirements
- Intern will be shadowing an experienced Project Engineer.
- INTERFACES
- Intern Supervisor - Formal reporting of feedback assessment. Frequent informal communications and assessments are required.
- Project Engineer - Intern will be assigned to a Project Team and work under the direction of an experienced Project Engineer.
- Intern Focal Point - Occasional informal communications are required.
- CAPABILITY PROFILE - KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND BEHAVIOURS
- Minimum of enrollment in a Bachelor of Engineering program (Civil, Mechanical, Ocean or Marine are preferred) from a university or equivalent.
- Previous use of Autocad or other 2D drawing software.
- Aptitude and attitude to learn and experience seabed-to-surface engineering requirements, software tools, and other technical issues.
- Ability to identify and use appropriate methods, tools and best industry practices to perform engineering under supervision of senior staff.
- Ability to produce deliverables in a timely manner that are clear and accurate.
- Ability to develop working relationships through effective communication.
- Ability to pursue goals, plan, prioritize and organize work.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
- WORKING CONDITIONS
- Primary location of the position is in the Subsea7 Singapore office.
- 40 hours working week, typical hours between 8:30am to 5:30pm (including 1 hour lunch break), Monday through Friday.
