**Job Purpose**
- In-charge of scaffolding activities on Project
- Coordinates, provides and supervises scaffolding processes and ensures that the scaffold is erected, installed, re-positioned, altered, or dismantled in accordance with the regulations and comply to Project Scaffolding Manual
- Ensures that only trained & qualified scaffold erectors are allowed to erect, alter or dismantle work involving scaffold activities.
- Ensures all scaffold matrials are of good condition fit for their purpose and of the correct type and standard approved by MOM for the company's use.
- Ensures scaffolding is built to requirements and procedures.
- Ensures all workers have been briefed on the hazard of scaffold erected, installed, re-positioned, altered, or dismantled.
- Ensures all staff has the correct PPE for scaffold erected, installed, re-positioned, altered or dismantled
- Coordinates and supervises closely all scaffolding work activities between PMT (Structual, Piping, EIT, Mechanical, Lifting, Architectural, Blasting/Painting, HVCA, Maintenance, Commissioning, Weighing, Sea Fastening, Load Out and other trades) and subcontractor.
- Monitors the subcontractor for daily erection / dismantiling / modification of scaffolding.
- Enforces safe work practices at job sites. Monitors and ensure workers work in a safety manner and all scaffolding on the job site are in good and safe confition.
- Attends PSCC (Project Safety Coordination Committee) Meeting. Join daily inspections, weekly Management inspection and Client Audit.
- Monitors and reports scaffolding safety aspects of the project to the Scaffold Supervisor / HSE Personnel.
- Ensures scaffold is being inspected / register tags & check list by the subcontractors and safe for use.
- Responsible for the time keeping of subcontractor's workforce
- Responsible for the good housekeeping for all the shops and erection sites.
- Responsible to stop; if any violation by the subcontractors against the HSE or Quality
