**Job Summary**

To plan and schedule the manufacturing activities and optimise the production capacity

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyse product specifications to plan and ensure availability of materials and machines resources to ensure manufacturing work orders meet on time delivery schedule
- Plan schedules to ensure production line is optimized
- Manage supplies to meet production plans and customers’ demand as well as ensure timely delivery of materials in order to support production build and meet targeted inventory turns
- Identify cost saving opportunities and implement plan for cost reduction and lowering inventory levels
- Drive process improvements to optimize efficiency and implement workflow systems to enhance productivity
- Optimize loading capacity and monitor movement of finished goods to minimize retention period of finished goods
- Ensure logistics activities are well-coordinated
- Monitor the availability of parts/raw material and co-ordinate orders with purchaser
- Comply with all defined safe work procedures of the company
- Support company initiatives to protect the environment by minimizing resources wastages, recycling effort and proper waste disposal.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Supply Chain Management/Purchasing Management/Business Administration with 3-5 years of relevant working experience in Production Planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office and production planning systems
