The Digital Workplace Support Engineer is responsible for providing first-line IT support for incidents and requests to internal Abcam customers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve IT tickets using the Service Now system.
- Install and configure end-user laptops.
- Perform new starter/mover/leaver processes for user accounts.
- Handle software and equipment requests.
- Manage user accounts and MFA keys
- Maintain PC hardware and software in an operable and secure state.
- Keep IT inventory records up-to-date.
- Perform office/desk reconfiguration as required.
- Provide infrastructure support as needed.
- Provide weekly reports to the manager on ongoing issues in English.
- Write knowledgebase articles and SOPs as required
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 3 years of prior desktop support experience.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on experience with Windows OS.
- Preferred experience with Autopilot/Intune/MDM and TCP/IP networking knowledge.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Business-level English language skills.
- Customer-focused attitude.
