**Summary**:
The Hotel Manager shall provide supervision, direction, and leadership in the Hotel in accordance with the Objectives and Quality Standards established by the hotel and also in driving the business to achieve its maximum potential.

**Responsibilites**:
1. Responsible for the proper, efficient, and profitable functioning of the Hotel. Oversee the Front Office, Housekeeping & Laundry, Food & Beverage, Security and Engineering departments.

2. Prepare the long-term and short-term strategies including planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the Hotel together with the Executive Committee.

3. Develop, recommend, and advise the Area General Manager on any areas of improvements in processes and strategies of the Hotel.

4. Be proactive and resourceful in the analyses of trends and changing needs of guests in terms of accommodations, services, and facilities.

5. Ensure that departments collaborate to achieve ARR and occupancy goals with proper, sound yield management of room inventory.

6. Ensure that the Housekeeping Department maintains an effective level of service and cleanliness in guestrooms and public areas within budget.

7. Ensure that the Food & Beverage Section consistently meets the standards, providing the desired services and achieving sales targets.

8. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, lobby, and other facilities periodically in order to maintain a consistently high level of standards.

9. Work with Outsource Security for efficient surveillance and proper reporting/follow-up incidents.

10. Coordinate with the Human Resources Department for manpower needs, recruitment, promotion, termination etc.

11. Review departmental programmes to ensure the development of future department heads.

12. Visit all departments daily and observe routine activities.

13. Represent the Area General Manager in his/her absence.

14. Undertake any other duties as may be assigned by the Area General Manager diligently and professionally.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in hospitality.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Able to perform independently under pressure in a fast paced environment.
