**The role**
We are looking for a Group Financial Planning & Reporting Manager. Reporting to the Group Head - Financial Planning and Analysis, the Group Financial Planning & Reporting Manager leads the coordination and preparation of periodic financial reporting and performance activities performed at a Toll Group level, inclusive of Management Reporting. The role ensures periodic Group financial planning and reporting activities are completed in the timeframes agreed with the parent company and provide maximum actionable insight.
As a Group Financial Planning & Reporting Manager, you will:
- Lead the end-to-end process of monthly Group level management reporting to a Group executive level audience, which includes planning, engagement, coordination, review, and timely submission of high-quality reports and review materials
- Develop recommendations for annual Business Unit targets and intra-year target adjustments and lead periodic performance management scorecard reporting processes
- Lead Group level end-to-end planning processes including budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial projections and Key Performance Indicators (“KPI”)
- Review and assess FP&A processes and assist in developing standardised, automated, and integrated forecasting and budgeting processes and methodology that will leverage ERP and CPM functionality, with a focus on forecasting accuracy, shortened cycle times, and continuous improvement
- Standardise, streamline and transform key financial reports
- Grow Finance Talent within Toll Group, with specific focus on the skill and career development of Group Finance Team resources and Financial Planning capability of the FP&A network.
**Qualifications**:
**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 10 to 12 years work experience. CA or CPA qualification is desirable
- FP&A and / or business partnering experience in a large corporate environment - ERP experience looked on favourably
- Exposure to finance transformation activities, in particular automation of key financial reports. Ability to critically assess financial information and contextualise insight
- Working knowledge of IFRS and accounting standards. Advanced planning and budgeting skills including demonstrable experience in driving innovation and efficiency in planning and budgeting processes
- Project Management and Continuous Improvement skills
- High level of commercial acumen and the ability to communicate and liaise persuasively with financial and non-financial stakeholders, verbally and through high quality communications and presentations
