**OVERVIEW**:
As an ETF Trader at Grasshopper, you will be part of a highly collaborative team that seeks to be a leading market maker in the Asian Markets. In this role, you will be tasked with executing successful strategies that will increase the overall profitability of our business.
**Responsibilities**:
- Generate and implement innovative and profitable trading strategies that will increase our presence and profitability in the Asian markets both on and off-screen
- Manage and optimize your intraday trading positions together with your team
- Collaborate with Quantitative Researchers to improve quantitative pricing models and ordering algorithms
- Focus on technical improvements on the desk while also automating various daily processes
**Skills and Knowledge Required**:
- A good Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in the fields of Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Data Analytics, Commerce or Economics.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in ETF market making
- A deep understanding of the Asian equity markets
- Excellent quantitative problem solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Python and/or SQL, highly desired
- Possesses quick and decisive thinking and the ability to perform and thrive in a dynamic and stressful environment
- Ability to communicate concisely and effectively
- A personality void of ego and is able to self-manage and grow without excessive structure
