Our mission is to organize the movement of cities. We believe that technology will change how we move, and that our Core Mobility Engine has the power to fuel the transformation of the mobility and logistics sectors. The SWAT product team is on a mission to build a suite of transport and logistics products which will empower businesses to change the way they organise movement.

We are looking for a VP Engineering to drive our company to the next level.

The roles includes:

- Developing a best-in-class engineering team which attracts and retains top data, cloud and software engineering talent and allows efficient and speedy agile delivery of scalable products in our fast-growing market.
- Define and implement modern agile development processes and ensure teams are properly skilled and trained.
- Maintain reliability, high scalability and end-to-end security of a cloud-based infrastructure.
- Ensure smooth collaboration and KPI alignment for technical delivery with Engineering and Product Teams to maintain company's agility and user-focus.
- Being responsible for data governance principles/compliance and security / backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Research and implement new technologies which may potentially increase the companies competitive advantage.

**Requirements**:

- An experienced, driven and internationally-minded personality with a strong passion to build a new disrupting technology in a small and fast-growing company.
- Previous work experience as a VP of Engineering or similar leadership roles
- 8-10+ yrs experience in Engineering in the area of software and technology products.
- Experience in collaborating with Data Science Teams and ML Model Deployment.
- Graduate degree in Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent
- Highly organized, strong leadership skills and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Strategic thinker with a passion to solve complex problems with technology
- Understanding of Business Planning and Budgets
- Cultural Understanding and hands-on experience in a fast-growing start-up environment.
- Experience in Mobility space is a plus

SWAT was founded in November 2015 on the vision to transform public transportation for the smart city of the future. We envision a future with an on-demand dynamic routing bus service that can move entire city in the most efficient manner. To this end, SWAT became the first technology company in Asia to have developed a dynamic routing algorithm specifically for a dynamically routed on-demand bus service.
