As Planning Director for Advanced Power Asia, this role will lead the supply chain processes within Asia related to supply planning and order fulfillment for both short term execution as well as long term strategic initiatives.

The scope includes supporting all AP Asia Sites and to facilitate and manage Supply Chain projects and processes to meet company goals for Delivery Performance (On-Time Delivery and Lead Time), Cost (reduce expediting and drive cost reductions) as well as Cash Flow (Inventory control) by understanding BU capacity, identifying constraints and actively reducing lead times. This role will communicate and align with the global supply chain team as well as the functional leaders within Asia.

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Lead a team of production planners directly and indirectly, provide leadership and direction to each asia site

2. Build a strong production planning function by implementing supply chain strategies, establishing best practice processes and metrics as well as planning process harmonization.

3. Support operational objectives related to facility and delivery plans. Analyse factory demand and company revenue plans, work with Production team on lean manufacturing planning.

4. Work with CAs and other related team to have all system data align with company goals.

5. Support and Develop plans on Lead Time to ensure that all factories have material available to meet Customer Expectations.

6. Working system reports and team performance reports, giving support to upper-level managers.

7. Monitor Performance, provide regular feedback and conduct Employee Performance Review.

8. Present and Provide updates to Senior Leadership

9. Working with upper-level managers on system improvement.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**

1. Works in standard office environment and uses general office equipment (telephone, PC, copier, fax machine, etc.).

2. International travels may be required based on business needs.

**SKILLS**

1. Thorough understanding of SAP or Material Requirements Planning (MRP), planning functions, and shop floor processes and materials.

2. Ability to effectively interpret and summarize statistical reports.

3. Excellent judgment and initiative, including the ability to effectively balance multiple priorities.

4. Excellent understanding of true material lead times for all critical assemblies.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

**EXPERIENCE**

**Essential**:

- Minimum of 15 years of production planning or material management experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as team leader.

**Desirable**:

- Proven track record of success and growth in positions of increasing responsibility.

**EDUCATION**

**Essential**:

- College / Bachelor of degree in Operations Management, Finance, Materials Management, Computer Information Sciences, or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Language on communication skill will be needed.

**Desirable**:

- Master’s degree on Business and Operation Management.
