**Position Overview**:

- Science Centre Singapore is dedicated to the promotion of interest, learning and creativity in science & technology through imaginative and enjoyable experiences, and to contribute to the nation's development of its human resource.**Essential Job Functions**:

- Collaborate, brainstorm, and work on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize and develop a wide range of materials that may include web pages, programming and educational collateral, newsletters, and marketing materials.
- Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity.
- Develop and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of colour, text, font style, imagery, and layout.
- Obtain input from team lead to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately.
- Work independently as well as cooperatively with internal team to meet deadlines.
- Create solutions that improve design capabilities.

**Requirements**:

- A tertiary/professional qualification in graphic or multimedia design, coupled with exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.
- At least 4 -6 years of relevant experience (academic and professional) with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in photography and proficiency with photo-editing software
