Job Summary & Responsibilities

**Qualifications**:
Experience and Qualifications:

- Master or Ph.D. degree in optical engineering, physics, EE or other relevant disciplines.
- 3-5 years of experience in high precision optical or semiconductor capital instruments, or alternative experience.
- Ability to independently identify and troubleshoot issues which limit tool performance - including both technical and logístical problems
- Ability to understand what limits system performance, and how to overcome those limits.
- Experience using Matlab and JMP is a plus.
- Knowledge in spectroscopy, ellipsometry and reflectometry is a plus.
- Ability to independently design and perform design of experiments related to optical instrumentation.
- Ability to travel internationally (up to 75%).
