- Making comprehensive assessments, effective planning and evaluation of sessions, appropriate development and implementation of appropriate treatment plans, strong documentation and report writing skills.
- Ability to create a safe space for patient engagement.
- Supporting children and adolescents with acute and chronic illnesses such as traumatic brain injury and childhood cancer using developmentally appropriate interventions.
- Supporting women with cancer.
- Supporting women and children at the end of life.
- Participate in the development and running of clinical services.
- Providing training and in-services to relevant stakeholders pertaining to current Music Therapy practices and theories.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor / Master in Music Therapy from an accredited university
- Registration with professional body for music therapists
- A professional member of the Association of Music Therapy Singapore (AMTS)
- At least 1 year of work experience in a clinical, medical or relevant setting
- Competent in the clinical, medical music therapy care and support of paediatric and women patients and their families
- Preferably certified in Neurologic Music Therapy
- Must be a team-player, resilient, compassionate, and someone who enjoys working in a challenging environment
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- 2-year Contract Part-time working hours position
