Roles & Responsibilities

Our production team is focused on craft and delivering on a creative idea while ensuring profitability and client satisfaction. The primary function of the Videographer & Editor is to provide agile photography, videography and post-production editing services and ensure constant quality and quantity of videos as expected by the company and its clients.

As a **Videographer/Editor**, you will
- Be a photographer and/or camera operator for simple shoots in different environment and situations
- Perform simple camera and lighting set-ups and alignment and other optical effects
- Carry out basic audio recording
- Creatively capture interviews, events and other visuals to help tell stories that will resonate with different audiences
- Collaborate with content creators to produce engaging content for social media and digital platforms
- Advise content creators on camera techniques and creative angles
- Work independently without producer/director on location
- Help guide the editorial decision-making by generating enterprise story ideas based upon your insights, curiosity and experiences
- Monitor trends in digital/social media storytelling
- Troubleshoot and resolve, unforeseeable technical glitches
- Carry out simple, single device live-streaming from the field
- Review and edit content gathered for broadcast and/or digital platforms
- Deliver content in appropriate formats (jpg, mov, mp4, etc.) with necessary elements (ex. graphics, keys, etc.) on deadline
- Data wrangle and ingest digital raw files from shoots
- Assist Production Manager with crewing, location scouting and basic maintenance of production equipment
- Assist Production Manager with collection and return of equipment and props to and from location for filming and production
