**Designation**: Cardiac Technician

**Job Purpose**:
The Cardiac Technician deals with ECG/EKG and electronic printouts that show heart rhythms to analyze and identify irregular rhythms.

**Job Authorities**:
The Cardiac Technician performs analyses on ECG/EKG reports and routine maintenance of equipment.

**Job Duties**:

- Identify arrhythmias from ECG record/strips such as Atrial Fibrillation, Ventricular Fibrillation, Supraventricular Tachycardia, Ventricular Tachycardia etc.
- Maintain quality results by evaluating event logs to support physician diagnoses.
- Performs related clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, record retention, patient check-in, procedure completion, and telephone answering as required
- Performs other related duties on ECG/EKG analyses as assigned.

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- Diploma/Degree in Cardiac Technology/Medial Technology/Biotechnology/Biomedical Sciences Studies.
- Registered nurses with SNB license and certification in ECG Interpretation are welcomed to apply.
- 1 year of relevant working experience in ECG diagnosis or cardiology is preferred.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess good planning and organizing skills.
- Service-oriented and customer-focused.
- Computer literate and attention to detail.
