**Key Responsibilities**
We are looking for a passionate and eager Cyber Defense Analyst to join our team. As a Cyber Defense Analyst, you will be trained and mentored by experienced professionals to monitor, analyze, and respond to cyber threats and incidents that affect our organization’s information and operational systems. You will also learn how to perform threat hunting to identify the root cause of attacks and suggest areas for improvement. You will have opportunities to work with colleagues from all of SATS Group’s businesses globally. You will also be part of the Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT) working closely with internal and external stakeholders for the investigation and containment of cyber attacks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor the network and systems for any security breach or suspicious activity using various tools and techniques
- Investigate and respond to cyber incidents in a timely and effective manner, following the incident response procedure
- Collect relevant information and evidence for root cause analysis
- Research and analyze emerging cyber threats, trends, and tactics
- Produce and present cyber risk reports/case studies and recommendations to senior management
- Collaborate with other tower within the Cybersecurity team to enhance the overall security posture of the organization

**Key Requirements**
- Fresh graduate in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field, or less than two (2) years of experience in cyber defense, Blue team, or similar role
- Proficient in English written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including proficiency in explaining cybersecurity topics to non-technical audiences.
- Basic knowledge of network protocols, security tools, techniques, and procedures
- Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, NGFW, and other cloud security technologies
- Awareness of various cyberattack vectors, methods, and indicators of compromise
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
