**Responsibilities**:

- Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality
- Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems
- Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
- Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

**Role Specific Requirements**:

- Lead the team of highly motivated and skilled individuals.
- Advanced report development skills including strong understanding of the Cognos 10..x and Cognos Analytics toolset, including Report, Dashboard, Event Studio and Framework Manager.
- Expertise with Cognos Administration and security.
- Hand on experience in Tableau is advantageous.
- AML/KYC Knowledge: Understanding of AML /CDD / KYC concepts
- Create technical design specifications
- Ability to handle complex business requirements.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment with the ability to interact effectively with other groups in the organization
- Strong oral written and interpersonal skills for interacting and collaborating with analysts and business staff throughout all levels of the organization; ability to clearly communicate complex business problems and technical solutions
- Maintain high Employee engagement and motivation, coach and mentor junior members

**Qualifications**:

- 7+ years of relevant experience in reporting tools like Cognos/Tableau.
- Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
- Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
- Hand on experience in Oracle PLSQL, Unix scripting, JAVA SDK
- Knowledge of job scheduling tools - Autosys, Cron, etc
- AML/KYC functional knowledge is a plus
- Understanding Software Development Life Cycle, familiarity with Waterfall and Agile development models
- Quickly grasp and master requirements and related knowledge
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Cognos Certification (Desirable)
