The Opportunity
Systems engineering group for Preamps is responsible for validating all preamp devices designed by Marvell. The activities also include performance measurement and automation of the tools used for validating the preamp. The group is also responsible for the hardware and software design of all tools required for the above two activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for block level and system level post-silicon validation of Marvell's Preamp products
- Responsible for conducting functional and performance validation, power analysis and performing
- electrical characterization across process, voltage, temperature corners for preamplifiers
- Independently develop and run automation test scripts for preamp validation and interface with equipment like, AWG, Oscilloscope, VNA, DMM, etc.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to define and improve test methodology, test coverage and test efficiency
- Perform rigorous data analysis and generate high quality test reports for our customers
- Responsible for debugging issues and coming up with ideas and techniques to isolate the problem
**Requirements**:
Minimum Requirements:
- 0-1 years of previous experience
Preferred Requirements:
- Excellent Design and Development experience, pursuing an MS in EE/CS and good verbal and written communication skills
- good knowledge with scripting languages like MATLAB, C, Python or VB
- Solid understanding of digital and analog functional blocks with a focus on analog design. This includes blocks like amplifiers, current mirrors, comparators, etc.
- Knowledge and experience in handling high speed AWGs, Sampling scopes, Vector Network Analyzers and Spectrum Analyzers
- High technical competence and ability to adapt to a dynamic challenging work environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders and drive tests to closure
- Knowledge on Hard-Disk Drive and Preamp will be a plus
