**About Us**

Our client is a fast-paced crypto trading firm operating in global markets where speed, reliability, and security are critical. As they scale and modernize their infrastructure, they are looking for an experienced Cloud Network Engineer (Contract) to support the design, deployment, and optimization of their cloud and hybrid networking environments.

**Role Overview**

In this role, you will deliver high-impact improvements to their cloud networking stack — with a focus on low-latency connectivity, network automation, and resilient architecture. You’ll work alongside engineers, traders, and platform teams to ensure their systems stay performant and secure at scale.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and deploy ultra-fast network infrastructure to support high-frequency trading operations.
- Engineer low-latency connectivity solutions, including RF path design, location analysis, and signal propagation studies.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced routing and switching systems tailored for performance-critical trading environments.
- Partner closely with trading, software, and infrastructure teams to maintain peak network efficiency.
- Analyze network performance, fine-tune for latency, and perform in-depth packet-level diagnostics.
- Refine network routes, radio configurations, and hardware choices to ensure optimal throughput and mínimal delay.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and real-time monitoring tools to improve operational visibility and responsiveness.

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- 3 to 5 years of experience in high-frequency trading or low-latency network environments
- Solid knowledge of RF engineering, including link budget calculations and precise antenna calibration.
- Expertise in core networking protocols such as TCP, UDP, BGP, OSPF, multicast, and Precision Time Protocol (PTP) for clock synchronization.
- Skilled in working with network hardware from vendors like Cisco, Arista, and Juniper, with a focus on optimizing for mínimal latency.
- Practical experience in tuning network performance, measuring latency, and analyzing traffic using tools like Wireshark and tcpdump.
- Proficient in Linux-based networking, scripting/automation (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible), and utilizing network observability tools.
- Exposure to cloud networking environments, particularly on AWS and possibly Aliyun Cloud.
