**About the Department**:
Sales (Commercial Banking) is responsible for new business and revenue generation, supporting customers in finding products, solutions, and services that best meet their needs. Sets the direction and policies for sales activities, and manages the execution of these plans. Commercial Banking covers activities related to the development, origination, and management of banking loan products, advice, and trade financing for institutions with mid-high ramge revenues.

Corporate & Commercial Banking covers activities related to providing banking loan products and advice to institutions ranging from small to mid-sized businesses, to the largest corporations. Includes major market middle market corporate banking, business banking, and corporate and transaction banking.

**Responsibilities**:
You are responsible for identifying and originating foreign direct investment (“FDI”) opportunities, primarily for the Japanese corporates and FDIs and translate these opportunities into new business for the Bank.

You will be developing and engaging new and existing partnerships that will generate quality leads and to develop mindshare to raise market awareness on the Bank’s FDI Advisory and its regional banking capabilities. In order to ensure overall success in delivering the assigned Key Performance Indicators, you need to work closely with business units and regional teams to devise action plans in achieving the targets.

**Job Requirements**:

- Preferably at least 6 years experience in business development role within similar industry
- Business acumen to understand FDI landscape in ASEAN and develop action plans to value add and support the foreign investors.
- A proven track record in engaging Japanese business community and ecosystem partners to originate the onboarding of FDIs into ASEAN and/or developing marketing channels for leads generation
- Ability to build rapport and mindshare with both internal and external partners to achieve the desired outcomes
- Outcome focused to translate opportunities into new business
- Write and communicate well in English and Japanese
- Banking experience will be an advantage
