**Roles & Responsibilities**

Work as a supporting role in IVD product research and development activities with the potential to be developed into a more senior independent individual contributor in R&D or other functional departments within the company.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Support Scientists to develop innovative products for Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and/or PCR-based _in-vitro_ Diagnostics.
- Executes product development process in the laboratory.
- Full accountability of timelines for the development of assigned products/projects.
- Follow processes that meet FDA QSR and ISO 13485 requirements.
- Product maintenance and product technology evaluation.
- Support operation of R&D facility in Singapore.
- Prepares technical reports, analyzes the result.

**Job Requirements & Attributes**

1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetic, or a related field is required.

2. The relevant skills and experience are preferred:
i. 0 to 3 years expertise in Molecular Diagnostics, Microbiology, Oncology or Infectious Diseases.

ii. 0 to 3 years of experience in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) techniques is a plus.

iii. Good knowledge of molecular biology, principles of sequencing, nucleic acid hybridization and enzymatic amplification.

iv. Good understanding of working in a GLP / GMP regulated environment.

v. the Demonstrated ability or track record of the results.

vi. Demonstrated ability to handle work professionally and efficiently with a positive “can-do” attitude.

3. Self-motivated committed, and resourceful.

4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

5. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

6. Good interpersonal skills for interacting with team members.
