What are my job responsibilities?

The Data Scientist Intern will be tasked with the following (non-exhaustive list):

- Study and transform data science prototypes
- Implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools
- Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods
- Run machine learning tests and experiments
- Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results
- Train and retrain systems when necessary
- Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks
- Keep abreast of developments in the field

What do I need to qualify for this role?
- Pursuing undergraduate studies in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or related field
- Intermediate knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms
- Ability to write code in Python - Working knowledge of Hadoop. Spark, SQL is preferred
- Team player
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills; the ability to convey complex analysis results clearly with conviction to all levels of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
