10+ years experience in strategy, project management, and/or program management roles, leading and executing complex projects to solve business problems
- Experience managing strategic projects from end to end (idea conception to implementation)
- A stellar academic and/or professional record
- Analytical and quantitative skills and ability to utilize Excel and/or other software to provide data to support your analysis
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Program or project management experience

As the ASEAN Growth Programs Lead, you will lead and manage strategic initiatives to help AWS acquire and nurture customers across ASEAN at scale.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Growth Programs team incubates new initiatives that can deliver non-linear growth and manages projects to solve strategic problems for our ASEAN business. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally and cross-geographically. You will need to ‘Learn and Be Curious’ (see Amazon Leadership Principles), as you will identify problems and gaps, collect and analyze data, generate insights, come up with solutions, and implement them. With a ‘Bias for Action’, you will execute on your proposed business strategies to solve difficult problems, remove blockers and deliver value for our customers and our business. To do so, you will need to ‘Earn Trust’ and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders such as sales, operations, partner, and marketing teams, to ‘Deliver Results’ for our customers and organization. Through leading initiatives across ASEAN, you will gain a unique insight into the internal workings of the world’s fastest growing billion dollar IT organization.

- Has a “can-do” spirit with a strong sense of ownership to execute end-to-end projects
- Has outstanding interpersonal skills and is able to earn trust and influence others
- Is independent and comfortable with navigating ambiguity
- Is highly organized and can multi-task and prioritize competing stakeholder requests
- Uses a customer-centric approach to solve problems
- Thrives in a lean, fast-paced, entrepreneurial, multi-cultural environment
- Has a passion for AWS and driving cloud computing adoption
