At Bifrost, we are building generative engines that allow users to create and control 3D worlds. Our goal is to empower everyone to create limitless 3D worlds and images. Our tool has enabled users to achieve incredible capabilities such as autonomously landing spacecraft on Mars, detecting pirates in the Atlantic Ocean, mapping the world from space, and generating synthetic data to train AI systems 10 times faster.

**Software Engineering Intern**

At our company, we love to have fun and come up with new ideas to enhance our product, infrastructure, and developer experience. Many of these ideas are perfect for “good first tasks," which is why we save them for our interns and new team members.

As an intern at our company, you'll have the opportunity to work on interesting and rewarding projects. You might develop core product features or create invaluable tools that will impact the way we work.

Our priority is to provide you with a truly educational experience, so you can expect to do some independent research and self-exploration. However, don't worry - we'll be here to guide you every step of the way, ensuring you make sound technical decisions and produce high-quality code.

**The Mission**

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain quality experience working alongside experienced engineers in building up new features for core products that serve customers across the world.

Interns will be expected to help out with:

- Creating frontend features using React and Typescript
- Expanding our testing suite by helping to write
- Unit and component tests with jest
- End To End Testing with Puppeteer
- Adding API endpoints to help support frontend features with Express and Node.
- Building Internal tools that help us with managing clients and users.

Additional Potential Projects (depending on when the internship begins)
- Working on Data Visualization Tools to help make sense of synthetic data that has been generated by us.
- Building 3D Model/Asset Viewers using web GL to provide previews of our environments prior to synthset generation
