**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and program CNC machines to produce high-precision components used in the life science sector.
- Read and interpret technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Set up and adjust CNC machines, including loading tools, setting offsets, and calibrating equipment.
- Conduct inspections and quality control checks on machined parts to ensure adherence to tolerances and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, including equipment malfunctions and product defects.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on CNC machines to ensure their optimal performance.
- Maintain detailed records of machining operations, including setups, adjustments, and quality checks.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices while working with CNC equipment and materials.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior machinists and technicians, sharing expertise and best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, with a proven track record in machining complex parts.
- Extensive experience with CNC programming, setup, and operation, including familiarity with CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines.
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tolerances, and materials, particularly in the context of the life science sector.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues effectively.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software and other machining-related software tools is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for operating CNC machinery.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Malay or Mandarin is a plus.
