**ORGANISATION UNIT**

SIN PB is a key unit of ENBD SIN Branch, as a contributor to the Branch’s top line, whilst diversifying the overall risk portfolio. SIN PB team comprises of the following:

- Front Office (F/O) is the sales unit for SIN PB. F/O staff are the main point of contact for all clients and generate the income for SIN PB. Presently, it consists of 2 primary markets, GSAB and GCC (Dubai, Royals, Abu Dhabi, KSA & Gulf, Dubai NRA & NRE), each managed by a Senior RM and a Junior RM. The 2 markets are assisted by 2 Assistant Bankers (1 for each market). The Front Office also consists of 1 Head of Investments who provides investment advice and market views to RMs and clients.
- Middle Office (M/O) is an independent team with SIN PB which oversees governance and is responsible for establishing processes, controls, and frameworks. M/O also handles corporate actions and IT initiatives related to PB. The Head of M/O is assisted by 1 Assistant Manager and 1 contract staff (vacancy to be filled)

**JOBS'S PURPOSE**

The Assistant Banker supports the Senior RM and the Junior RM who manage the SIN GCC market, which covers 5 teams including Dubai, Royals, Abu Dhabi, KSA and Dubai NRE & NRA and is a key point of contact in servicing clients referred to Singapore Branch from Head Office RMs. The individual should have a friendly, efficient and professional disposition to accommodate internal and external contact while delivering the required tasks.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Client Team Support - Customer Service**
- Liaises closely with Senior RM and Junior RM for GCC as well as RMs from HO and overseas branches for referred accounts to SIN Branch
- Provide customer service to overseas referred PB clients and assist HO-based RMs in the efficient management of referred accounts booked in SIN branch
- Assist RMs in the account opening process, completing account documentation, screening for adverse news, checking validity of documentation, completion of subscription forms, obtaining rates from Treasury and preparation of deal tickets.
- Attend to customer enquiries, account balances, portfolio performance and provide deposit rates, investment pricing to customers
- Undertakes activities to support the Private Banking Team.
- Acts in customer service capacity as well as assists in the relationship management of clients.
- Supports the RMs in the execution of trade orders and in the distribution of investment materials/presentations (including monthly/quarterly marketing documents) and distribution of external resources to marketing teams and customers.
- Follow up with PB Operations / Back office team on the account related and administrative issues.

**Compliance - Inter-dept/Regulatory**
- Work closely with compliance team to ensure that all compliance issues are fully adhered to.
- Ensure that all rules, regulations and compliance requirements of the relevant statues and the Monetary Authority of Singapore are satisfied.

**Operations - Internal &External**
- Work closely with operations to ensure that PB clients obtain an efficient service and accounts are properly managed with highest standards of service and competence.

**Processes - Inter-dept**
- Work on tasks in co-operation with other team members with maintaining positive and close Interdept relationship.
- Involve in system enhancement and provide suggestions/ideas for work flow efficiency.

**Customer Service - Communication & Professionalism**
- Adopts an open and effective communication style and integrate effectively within inter-departments and within the branches/bank.
- Safeguards the reputation of the bank by employing best practices and acting in a professional manner at all times.Strives for self-development and improvement.

**ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/QUALIFICATION**
- Accredited Diploma/Degree, preferably Diploma in Wealth Management & possess Certification in CACS 1 and 2.
- At least 2 years working experience in PB / Wealth Management.
- Have interest in financial markets and keep updated with the financial news, products and private banking related developments.
- Well versed with the regulatory regime (local & global).
- Able to train new PB assistants (in the near future as the team expands).
- Ability to think clearly and handle client issues in a calm manner.
- Good interpersonal skills with all the relevant departments within the bank such as Credit, Risk, Compliance, Trading Desk and Operation Units.
- Willing to improve and learn by attending external and internal trainings related to service quality and wealth management.
