**NANYANG ASSISTANT PROFESSOR**

The School of Humanities is a vibrant and leading centre of research in a wide range of humanities disciplines. The School of Humanities aims to provide quality education to our students and to conduct cutting-edge research at the highest international level. Offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Art History, Chinese studies, English Literature, History, Linguistics and Multilingual Studies, and Philosophy, the School aims to make a significant impact on our understanding of culture and society in Singapore and beyond.
- Develop a world-class research plan
- Enhance the School’s visibility as an international leader in research
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses
- Actively collaborate with NTU faculty and researchers

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct high-quality innovative research in terms of publishing top-tier books and journal articles, and book chapter, presenting at international conferences, securing competitive research grants, and supervising research projects
- Contribute to teaching and course development at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as related activities such as academic supervision of undergraduate and graduate students
- To eventually undertake administrative and/or leadership roles, and to contribute to other service-related activities assigned by school and university

**Requirements**:

- PhD in English Literature
- Strong record of research and relevant publications in reputable peer-reviewed international journals
