[What the role is]
EXECUTIVE ENGINEER/ ENGINEER, ROLLING STOCK DEVELOPMENT
[What you will be working on]
You will play an integral role in managing large-scale Rolling Stock projects for the new and existing MRT lines. You will participate in the design, manufacture, testing and commissioning of passenger trains. You will be required to work closely with international contractors and liaise with various groups such as project teams, interfacing parties, stakeholders and the appointed Railway Operator to ensure that the projects are well co-ordinated and progress according to the stipulated timeline.
You will have an opportunity to develop expert knowledge in one or more of the following areas: electric traction drives, auxiliary power supplies, electromechanical control systems, communication systems, brake system, carbody, noise and vibration, and fire safety.
[What we are looking for]
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical and/or Electronics/Mechanical Engineering
- Eagerness to learn and willingness to get hands-on experience for site works
- Good appreciation of the MRT system complexity and interface requirements
- Good communication and presentation skills
- A team player who is analytical, resourceful and results-oriented
- Available for overseas travel
