**Responsibilities**
- Contribute to the design of risk programmes and policies in line with defined roadmap and risk appetite
- Develop and maintain risk rating scorecards and ensure proper validations and tracking are in place
- Perform investigations to identify fraud/credit related patterns and resolve escalated issues from the team taking into consideration risk versus customer impact
- Execute risk assessments and develop and maintain effective risk treatment plans
- Keep current on various risk trends that might affect the payment industry
- Instil a positive risk culture in the company and provide customized training
- Support the risk team in various initiatives and ad hoc projects as required
**Qualifications**
- 5+ years of experience in consumer and/or merchant risk management in financial services (including credit underwriting)
- Strong understanding of the payment technology industry
- Results oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment requiring prioritization and ownership
- Confident communicator with the ability to interact at all levels, including working closely with cross functional teams
- Aptitude to identify new ways to approach risk management and to think creatively
- Experience in working with card networks would be a plus
