**Job Summary**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with relevant user groups to prepare medical equipment specifications for ITQ/RFP
- Evaluate ITQ/RFP submissions and provide recommendations based on technical compliance
- Review and make improvement to various programmes to ensure mínimal operations disruption and ensure medical equipment is safe for use at all times.
- Provide technical support for commissioning, operation, maintenance, and de-commissioning of medical equipment.
- Supervise the specialist vendors and appointed contractors on medical equipment maintenance works
- Check, analyse, and investigate faults/complaints/hazards on medical equipment and assist in mapping out and implementation of required action plans.
- Ensure quality of works conform to standards and practices that the hospital subscribes to, including other quality initiatives driven by hospital and department.
- Support and assist BME Head in coordinating services for medical equipment projects together with IT, Consultants, vendors, contractors and appropriate authorities.
- Work closely with BME team to support procurement activities and related projects to ensure smooth operation
- Perform any other duties as assigned by BME Head.

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic or Electro-mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant industry experience with 5 years’ experience in similar capacity
- Good communication and supervisory skills
- Customer service oriented
- Positive work attitude and ability to work with all levels of staff
- Familiar with Hospital BME functions and processes
- Fundamental IT knowledge (OS, Cybersecurity, and Microsoft office, etc.)
- Those with more experience will be considered for a more senior position
