Tax leadership for Strategy and Planning
- Opporunity to play a pivotal role in shaping our tax strategy for a diverse range of business e.g. Real Estate, Maritime and Investments.
- Tax lead to business units.
- Provide leadership on tax implications for business transactions, including tenders, mergers, acquisitions, divestments and restructuring activities.
Tax Compliance and Reporting
- Manage tax compliance (including filings, tax audits and transfer pricing).
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with the business to integrate tax considerations into strategic decision-making processes.
- Provide tax guidance and support for new business initiatives and expansion into new markets.
- Collaborate with external advisors and consultants to leverage specialized expertise and optimize tax outcomes.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Degree or Postgraduate degree in Accountancy and/or related major.
- At least 12 to 15 years of international tax and relevant tax experience, preferably in a multinational corporation or reputable professional services firm.
- Familiarity and practical experience in key ASEAN countries’ taxation will be an advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge, including international tax principles and understanding of transfer pricing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex tax concepts to diverse stakeholders to support decision-making at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
