**What will you be doing?**
- The Chief Engineer is responsible to the Vessel Master for the management of the Technical Department which includes responsibility for the technical status of the ship, its machinery and propulsion systems, all technical equipment permanently installed on board and all marine technical equipment temporarily installed on board.-
- Applicants will need relevant academic qualifications or evidence of having completed an appropriate apprenticeship or similar compliant with the STCW Code A-III/2. They should also hold at all times a valid Seafarer Medical Fitness or equivalent as well as an Offshore Survival certificate suitable for geographical area of work.- Subsea7 is proud to offer an inclusive work environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
