ByteDance Data Center Development team is responsible for building Internet Data Center and Network in the Asia Pacific region. Our work involves, but not limiting to, DC innovation, implementing advanced technologies and renewable energy to achieve carbon-neutrality, rapid project delivery, capacity planning, process and risk control, cost management, etc.
Our team's goal is to provide ByteDance with stable, reliable, efficient Data Center infrastructure services to support our businesses.
As the Data Center Design (Electrical) Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Be the go-to expert for evaluating Electrical system technical designs and regularly ensure technical design submissions by our partners meet our global standards;
- Oversee the localisation efforts to ensure Data Center and critical equipments meet global standards and specifications;
- Collaborate with our inhouse design team for the optimisation of data hall standards;
- Assist our local Operation team on troubleshooting, design standards optimisation, and related tasks;
- Conduct site selection related tasks for our Data Centers in APAC & other Non-China Regions;
- Support Ad-Hoc project management tasks when assigned;
- Bachelor degree or above in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or other related majors;
- Proficient with local code and fire code
- Preferred experience in project delivery of 5000 racks and above
- Relevant experience in liquid cooling deployment is an added advantage;
- Certified Professional Engineer is an added advantage
