About GLOBALFOUNDRIES
Introduction
The IP Legal Paralegal will work with in-house Patent Agents and Patent Engineers to assist in the patent drafting, filing and prosecution activities in GLOBALFOUNDRIES Singapore. He/she will also be expected to support the IP team in other IP projects as the need may be.
Your Job
- Monitor and attend to correspondence from associate IP firms for foreign filings.
- Docket and file incoming correspondence from USPTO/ other patent offices.
- Update and maintain the GF electronic patent docketing system.
- File Section 34 Security Clearance or other forms with IPOS as required.
- Docket trademark monthly reports and approve associated invoices.
- Scheduling invention review meetings for inventors.
- Support IP team projects such as Innovation Week activities in Singapore.
Required Qualifications:
- At least a Diploma in Legal Studies or equivalent.
- Good spoken English and writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be advantageous.
- A good understanding of the patent laws in the US and/or other jurisdictions will be helpful.
