A major private debt investment manager is looking to hire an experienced investment professional who will lead the firm's investment efforts and manage a diverse investment portfolio in Southeast Asia.
**Responsibilities**
You will join a highly credible team in originating and building a robust pipeline of investment opportunities in Southeast Asia. This involves leading end-to-end investment transactions including deal sourcing, screening, conducting due diligence, deal structuring, negotiating terms and legal documentation, writing investment proposals and presenting to the Investment Committee. Post deal completion, you will manage and monitor the performance of a diverse investment debt portfolio. You keep abreast of industry trends and are aware of regulatory changes in Southeast Asian markets. You contribute to fundraising initiatives through networking at industry events, conferences and continuously building key client relationships.
**Requirements**:
You have outstanding academic qualifications and 7- 10 years of relevant experience in investment banking/private debt/credit and a strong deal track record in Southeast Asia. You have robust financial modelling/analytical skills and proven ability to conduct comprehensive due diligence and credit risk assessments. Your sound debt investment expertise and in-depth understanding of the investment landscape in this region will put you in good stead to succeed in this role. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and are effective in engaging clients, stakeholders and deal parties. Possessing an extensive network of contacts, potential investees and investors presents a strong advantage.
