Scanteak is searching for a motivated individual to join our Procurement team We’re a young team in a dynamic retail environment, so we’re looking out for someone with a can-do attitude, who’s ready co-create and futureproof retail both in Singapore as well as in Asia. The Procurement Executive role reports to the Sr Procurement Manager. The job reaches out to the shopper in all of us, but most importantly this role facilitates our global purchasing, R&D as well as supplier management. **Job Title**
Procurement Executive
**Responsibilities**:
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
- Assist with inventory planning forecasting.
- Participate in strategic sourcing activities and vendor selection processes.
- Works closely with our Japan, Singapore and Taiwan teammates to manage delivery schedules and products.
- Initiate, plan, drive and manage procurement initiated projects and initiatives
- Import and export shipment arrangement and documentation
- Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with our Quality Assurance Team as well as Suppliers.
- Works closely with the Sales and Marketing department to plan for promotions.
- Establish good relationships with potential and existing vendors.
- Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
- Review vendor prices and assist on product pricing on the shopfloor
**Requirements**:
- Minimum Diploma holder
- Fresh graduate is welcome
- Leadership experience is a plus
- Familiar with Shipping Documents & ERP system is a plus
- Proficient in both English and Mandarin
- Well versed in Microsoft office; especially Excel, Word and Outlook
- Self-motivated, result driven, independent and good in problem solving
- Detail oriented and good interpersonal & communication skills
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Willing to travel
**Work hours**
- (Mon-Fri) 9-6pm
- Shuttle picks up at 8.30am at Yew Tee MRT on weekday
