The financial planning and analysis (FP&A) team plays a pivotal role in providing Management with insights into current business drivers, as well as relevant projections to aid Management in making strategic decisions on a timely basis.

As FP&A continues to build up capability for above-market decision support and analytics, we now have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly goal oriented and success-driven individual with software and system knowledge to join our team.

Job Purpose

Based in Singapore and reporting directly to the Head of FP&A, the incumbent will work on business intelligence and visualization projects, which will involve claims analytics, trend analysis, P&L deep-dive, financial planning and competitor’s analysis. Collaboration with the broader team to leverage technology to continually improve and streamline existing FP&A processes is expected. This is an exciting role with exposure to the building blocks of the business, as well as insights into the rationale and justification behind Management’s business strategies.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

Automate and streamline existing FP&A processes.

Build dashboards to aid Management in making strategic decisions.

Come up with analytics and metrics to measure sales efficiency.

Provide support for the Monthly Operating Review (MOR), monthly analysis and annual planning work for Singapore.

In-depth analysis of the P&L statement and able to explain the key drivers of monthly variances.

Track key performance metrics and provide in-depth claims and trend analytics.

Undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Education/Professional Qualifications/Experience Required

University degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or Actuarial.

6-7 years’ of working experience in data analytics, or health insurance or healthcare systems.

Prior experience in Financial Planning & Analysis is a bonus.

Skills and attributes

Advanced Excel proficiency.

Fundamental understanding of SQT and data systems

Understanding and working knowledge of Tableau.

Dynamic and able to work with a broad range of people across the organization.

Able to juggle priorities and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Independent and takes ownership

Possess a deep hunger to learn and grow, and a willingness to experiment in order to learn.
