As a **luthier **, you will add your skills to our workshop team in maintaining a high quality of sound and performance for the instruments that we represent as well as those owned by players in our community.

You would be working within our beautiful and historic building in Pearl's Hill Terrace, Chinatown, Singapore and joining a growing department with opportunities for further training and advancement.

**General Responsibilities**:

- Repair, restore, and set up instruments at the direction of the Workshop Manager
- Provide top-tier customer service
- Guide customers in selecting instruments and accessories, ensuring their needs are met.
- Perform precise setup, service, and repairs on all orchestral string instruments with advanced luthier expertise.
- Assist in daily shop operations including opening, closing, inventory management, and cash handling.

**Logistical Requirements**:

- Weekend availability (Saturdays and Sundays).
- Legally eligible to work in Singapore.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Professional experience in the restoration, repair, and setup of violins, violas, and cellos preferred.**
- **Outstanding time management **and organization skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong background in customer service and sales.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment and collaborate with others.

This is a full-time: 44 hours, 5½ days’ work week opportunity. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Applicants should be prepared to have availability for 5½ days’ work week with the requirement of weekend availability (Saturdays and Sundays).
