**Technical Business Analyst
The principal responsibility of the Solanio Business Analyst is to manage the analysis of processes to oversee and manage all or some of the associated activities during change implementation. Responsibilities will include some or all of the following:

- Capturing, analysing and documenting of business process (including IT processes)
- Designing of solutions or change interventions
- Managing change activities which can include diverse tasks such as timeline planning to stakeholder engagement
- Devising change interventions such as training and communication
- Managing the tracking and documenting progress and managing status reporting
- Implementing solutions
- Managing support staff, ensuring resources are utilised effectively and resource supply meets demand

Principal responsibilities

This role will carry out some or all of the following activities:

- Assures delivery through the entire life-cycle of the project of user requirements through to live
- Works within Medium sized and medium complexity Technology projects - these may span across multiple business units and/or geographies
- Able to project manage mainly using Agile methodology, and at times with hybrid of traditional waterfall method, and as well as managing stakeholders across multiple business and IT functions
- Has expertise in Agile engineering practices (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, LEAN) as well as Disciplined Agile and SAFE framework experience
- Supports the Product Owner to evolve Product roadmap, creation of epics and writing of user stories and managing the product backlog
- Creates analysis of customer journeys and product functionality
- Helps to define and track metrics and Performance Indicators for the product
- Guides the Agile Team performance and outcome metrics as required
- Provides expertise in at least 1 technical capability/competency, such: as cloud, mobile, digital, security, core banking, insurance, micro services, capacity management and architecture platforms
- Provides expertise in process and a low level understanding of multiple areas, such as: disciplined Agile software delivery, production support processes, continuous DevOps pipelines
- Understands risk exposure to the bank and help senior colleagues manage it
- Contributes to the development of the BA elements of the IT Portfolio and Programme Management practice. Encourages adoption of the practice across the BA community
- Driving measurable continuous improvement into all delivery environments across all disciplines

**Requirements**:

- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Technology or related fields, Science, Business Administration, economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field preferred
- Experience in Business Analysis, operating in a global environment with strong track record of business and IT programme analysis in a global, regional and local structure
- Insurance Industry experience and domain knowledge of technology and agile delivery
- Strong experience working with corporate enterprise document and content management systems and workflow management systems.
- Strong project management experience preferred
- Good understanding of the lifecycle of an insurance product and associated functions
- Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal/external stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and changing priorities
- Ability to bring analytical rigour, structure and effective solutions to poorly-defined problems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - applicable through multiple channels (written, spoken, workshops, presentations)
- Excellent understanding of online tools (e.g. JIRA/ Confluence) and excel is a must
