Locus Robotics is a leader in the rapidly growing eCommerce order fulfillment optimization space. Our solution helps warehouse owners attain 2-3X efficiency over cart-picking operations by empowering pickers to work collaboratively with our robots while integrating with the operator’s Warehouse Management System and using and optimizing existing facility infrastructure. Locus Robotics is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our APAC expansion and provide management leadership, strategic planning, and P&L responsibility. In this role, you will engage with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure the successful and timely launch in selected APAC geographies.
Requires at least 25% travel within selected APAC countries and occasional travel to the US or Europe.
- Responsible for our overall APAC expansion efforts of the Locus organization and our solution suite.
- Drive business growth by managing the full cycle sales process, maintaining and growing the initial pipeline of opportunities across multiple market segments.
- Achieve specific sales targets for new and follow-on opportunities by delivering Locus Robotics' unique value proposition to APAC prospects.
- Understand the complex and varied needs of the customer and present compelling ROI-based customer proposals.
- Oversee, plan and execute marketing campaigns within the region by leveraging global campaigns and content to generate pipeline.
- Define the Locus Robotics go-to-market strategies and initiatives within the APAC region
- Collaborate with partners on strategies and plans to increase joint revenues.
- Build a strong relationship with key influences and decision-makers within the industry.
- Serve as the voice of the customer to the Locus organization.
- Work closely with other functions and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Supply Chain/Logistics, or related degree or equivalent work experience. MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience strategically selling in one or more of the following market segments - eCommerce, Retail, 3PL, Healthcare, Industrial Automation, and/or General Warehouse Automation.
- Deep working knowledge of warehouse operations or WMS systems.
- Demonstrated success selling innovative, complex Warehouse/Supply Chain solutions combining hardware, software, and services.
- Good technical understanding of software and robotic solutions.
- High-energy, self-starting individual who has proven business development success and will thrive in a team environment.
- Confidence and experience to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Outstanding presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to interface with all levels of professionals.
- Experience working within an international environment.
- Proficient English written and verbal fluency is required, as well as fluency in one of the following other languages: Mandarin, Japanese.
- Singapore work authorization.
